Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone could help, Im new to Audio stuff..

I got a 3cd album on my computer in which the 3 discs are recorded as a single .mp3 file. I believe i can use a .cue file with nero to split the album up into separate tracks? I done a bit of searching & found this bit of info that i should be able to make into .cue file(s) if i knew how..

PERFORMER "VA"
TITLE "CD1"
FILE "CD1.mp3" MP3
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "track 1"
PERFORMER "artist"
FLAGS DCP
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "track 2"
PERFORMER "artist"
FLAGS DCP
INDEX 01 03:16:57

..and so on. its a big long text document (although ive changed track/artist names to, ahem, protect the copywritten & post here) i just dont know what im supposed to do next!

any help much appreciated, dudes.. :)

your cue sheets looks correct. rename the .txt file to .cue. now download EAC (exact audio copy) from the downloads section here. once installed, click the write cd button (bottom button on left). then click file > load cue sheet, and burn away. it will burn your audio CD into gapless separate tracks according to the cue sheet.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
