Is there some way i can copy ps2 games withought a mod-chip or something i have to put on my ps2?

you don't need a modchip or swapmagic to backup your games, all you need is Nero or dvd dec. now to play them on the other hand is a defrent story. You will need swap magic

is it possible to use a 'back-up' of swap magic to play my back- up games? also me bieng stupid but can i get my ps2 to play mp3 / AVI files as have tried n failed but havnt got a modchip or swap disk.

you can not use a backup of swap magic to play backups, it won't work.
