You cannot put an xbox game into your computer and burn it, copy it, etc. It will not work.

In order for you to successfully backup an xbox game you will need to...

Set up a network between your PC and Xbox. That can be done in 1 of 2 ways.
1 - Get a crossover cable. Set your Xbox with an IP address. The LAN connection you will be using on your PC will also need to have a static IP assigned to it.
2 - Add your xbox to your home network by way of a router (Easiest method) Your xbox does not have to have a Static IP although I recommend it if you have a few computer in your home. It just eases identification and keeps you from having to edit your connection info when the address changes

O.k. (wrist hurts) Now you will need an FTP program for your PC like Qwix: http://www.teamavalaunch.com/qwix/. Set up a connection within the program with your xbox's info. Don't worry, you'll be prompted to do it the first time use the program. Once you have a successful connection, click Manage Titles on Xbox Hard Drive and give it a chance to load what's on the HDD. Highlight the game you want to backup, select CREATE ISO and save it to a directory you'll remember. Later, burn it with Nero. If you need help with the Nero part, here is a tutorial I had done earlier that may help: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/218388

This pick should help you to understand the "Create ISO" part of what I was explaining.

**No, you will not see a black box on your screen. Privacy is all that is. Hope this helps you out.
