Searching for DivX Enabled Recorders & Reviews

There seems to be some good hardware coming down the line around year end that record as well as plays DivX, Xvids, etc. Would be great to get a good unit from the likes of Pioneer with their great tech stuff for recording quality(have a Pioneer Tivo enabled unit).

Philips has the DVDR3355/37 but I only see it at a very few dealers and can get no review so I am asking for assistance to links/threads or anything that takes me to a good DVD recorder that records DivX format, especially DivX 6. I can afford the $199 that is list for the Philips but for that price, I want a review by someone without a buck to make off the review.

Last, I do appreciate anyone just reading this but replies are simply fantastic. Finding a unit like the Ilo from Wal-Mart that would record and play DivX would be great but the unit I took back would not reliably record even DVDs. If it also had a hard disk, that would make it a "must have" item. The only thing then left to be desired would be a USB 2.0 Port that accepted a keyboard as well as flash card imput.
