I got a v9 modded with duo2se, it works and everything, but as soon as I close the top cover, with a couple of screws, it stopped working. I've been troubleshooting for hours but still don't know what caused it. If this happened to you before, lend me a hand. Thanks.

does it work when you take the cover off again.

possibilities:

1. a wire came loose when you put the top back on.
2. wires could be hanging off the sides and the top pinched the wires causing a problem.

thanks for the reply. Looking at the v9 board, the only thing could possibly come off is the power line which I connected near the controller input.

When i took off the cover, it works fine. although, sometimes the disc spins when i power on, and sometimes it doesn't, so i had to disconnect the power board, then reconnect it in order for the dvd rom to spin. I'm not sure if this problem is caused by the "romeo" fix or not but nevertheless it should work with the cover on.

Does anyone else with a v9 board experienced the same situation?
