CD-R that plays with PowerDVD

I have a sort of power point presentation that isn't recognized by PP, not by my stand alone DVD player but is recognized by PowerDVD software. There are 4 folders on the CD-R: EXT (empty), MPEGAV (has a single file, 105 MB), SEGMENT (empty) and VCD (with 4 files all ending with .vcd).

Anyone have clue about the originating software? Can this be turned into a CD to play on a stand alone player?
