hey guys, thanks in advance... today i tried to burn some ps2 games for the first time -> dynasty warrior 4 and 5. i got the program alcohol 120% and DVD Decryter. i did what most forums told me to do , however whenever the program is reading the disc to form a image or something, it ALWAYS HAS AN ERROR! always! can someone tell me what i can do to get rid of the error. the disc i tried to burn from are fine, they work on my ps2, no dirt or whatsoever. please help me out!! thanks guys!
Just a guess, but u may not have enough space on your hdd.
Other than that, if making an .iso image file doesn't work for you, you can always do a 1:1 copy from Nero. Open up Nero startsmart and select DVD from the top right hand corner. Then find the tab that says "copy disk" itll make an exact of what is in your reader. Hope this helps.
im trying it with DVD decryter now... at the beginning where it says : DESTINATION --> Capacity is 14,538,792 KB and the FREE SPACE is 14,128,088...... is this a problem? does this mean i dont have enough space?!?!
hello i have used dvd decryptor and have the iso file on my hard drive for my ps2 game madden 06. i have then burnt it to a sony DVD+R disc at 8x and 4x speed. both times i put it in my ps2 the red screen of death has come up saying to put in a ps disc or ps2 disc format. Is it just my disc im using should i buy a -r and try that. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess i also need the swapmagic to. my friend does not have a mod chip and does not need a disc to start his up so im just wandering how his is working without that other stuff. the game that he ripped was madden 06
I just want to say thanks for your responses. I asked him again last night and he says he has an external hard drive or something that you put under the network adaptor or something and also on his memory card has some kind of swap magic saved to it. Maybe thats why he doesnt need to use a startup disc when he plays his ripped games. just curious
