xecuter3 problem

i have a v1.6b xbox with Xecuter3 CE + Xapt3r v1.6 installed.
I need to flash the bios. When i boot, i get to the flashbios 3.0.3 screen.
My controller does not work. All 4 ports don't work. It is an original xbox controller. My controller port are plug and working.
If i boot with the chip disable, my controller works great.

What is wrong?

check the connectors from the chip to the console. make sure that they are tightly fitted.

When this happens I always tell people this:

1) Try removing all memory cards and leave only one genuine Micro$oft controller plugged into port 1.

2) If it still doesn't work use the Micro$oft DVD remote control and dongle (grab somebody elses if you don't have one as you won't need it for long).

3) If your still having trouble make sure you are using the standard AV cable.

my guess is you make the same mistake myself and damn near everyone does when they get to hacked xbox menus... dont use the sticks, you have to use the D-Pad aka the cross pad
