I'm assuming the country my phone is locked to is the United States
since that is wHere I am and where I bought it and where I use it.
can point me to a primer as to how to enter this unlock code..

Hi, new to this concept but I think this is what I'm looking for. My lying cheating husband has put a lock on his Nokia 6010 phone. Will an unlock code allow me to access the menus? IMEI: 01041600/706324/7, US, T-Mobile. Barring that, can I put his existing sim card into a new nokia phone? Many thanks if you can give me peace.

Sorry if this sounds dumb. How do I enter the unlock code? Do I insert the SIM card first which it will not work with, then enter the code, or do I just enter the code without any SIM card?
