Ripping Problems with DVD Decrypter

I have run into 2 problem disks with DVD Decrypter now, I am wondering if any of you have had problems with this also?

My wife wanted me to burn a copy of The Country Bears and The Muppets Christmas Carrol for my kids and these are the errors that I keep coming up with on both disks:

Apparently, Decrypter wasn't able to get around the encryption on these 2 disc. Dnld DVD43 from this site. It's a free driver app that runs in the background. Pop in disc and the yellow smiley face in the bottom right corner of your screen will turn angry then green. When it does you can burn the disc without encryption. Also, there's another called AnyDVD which works the same way and is much better, but there's a catch. 21 day trial period then must purchase but it's worth it if you back up a lot of today's dvd's. Especially anything from Sony. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a disc prob.
There is nothing special about these movies.
They both can be done with DVD Shrink and DVD Deccrypter.
Is there a problem with the disc?
Scratches, smudges?
Does it play fine in standalone players?
Run a program like Nero or DVDINFOPRO that can read the disc for errors.
I highly suspect a Disc issue
Both movies were released in 2002.
Are they old DVDs or new?
