Does anyone know why when I try to copy new movies like SIN CITY or THE SOPANOS 5 SEASON, I get an error saying that it has new DVD Encryption.

Depends on what you are using to try to copy. Which Program(s)? Are they current and up to date to handle the newer encryptions? A little more detailed explanation would probably be in order.

I believe that all XCopy programs are about two years out of date and will not handle the encryptions on some of the newer movies. You probably need to use DVD Decrypter, DVD Snrink, AnyDVD, CloneDVD 2, etc., in order to be successful.

anydvd will do ALL of the newer movies that dvdxcopy will NOT. (in terms of encryption) :)

There is also DVDFab Decrypter. It works with all the latest movies as well... PLUS, it's FREE....
