Hi!

I've just bought a used PSX2, it will arrive me in a day or two.
I'm not really sure what version it is, but its not the slim version. I wouldnt buy a slim version anyway, since I'm gonna insert a HDD.

First question:
-What was the usual version in the stores here in europe a year and a half ago?
I'm just wondering, cause I will decide as soon as possible what modchip to order.

And that leads to the next question:
-What modchip is considered the best in combination with a harddrive?
I know this is a tough question.
I have been studying this for a few days, and have come up with these alternatives:
a) DMS4 Pro
b) Matrix Infinity
-
c) Ghost 2
d) Crystal Chip

I am especially concerned with the way to install images onto the harddrive. I want it to be as quick and painfree as possible.

I know DMS4 Pro got the Toxic OS, what does the other chips have in comparison? Would it be possible to install Toxic OS into the memory card to use it with any of the other chips?

And my last questions:
-Would it be possible to use USB media with any of the chips? Like my 1GB USB Pen Drive? My 80GB USB HDD? Would it be possible to install Toxic OS into my USB Pen, and then be able to choose when to put it inside to use Toxic OS?
