I would like to know what website i should get an installation of a chip in my PS2...this is not only for me but for others that want to get an installation.Lately ive been seeing people getting ripped off with their PS2, either by getting a clone chip installed or their ps2 breaking because they ordered from someone that didnt know what they were doing.

steelcityelectronics(now trustedmods.com) seems like a trustworthy site but they dont really have any costumer reviews/testimonials so i dont know..

Xmodd.com Is a little more expensive but looks good.

Please help, i dont want to get ripped off, also post websites to stay away from that you know of...

i've heard a lot of good customer reviews of steelcityelectronics.com or now that they have changed. (i like the old name better).

I used socalmods.com (DMS4 on a used V7 I bought on eBay from ps2repairsinc) and I am quite happy with both transactions. Do not expect documentation from the modder, the PS2 will come back naked and you will have to figure out how to work the thing.

hey i ordered from NorcalMods and they were great...they even flashed the chip for matrix infinity with the new upgrade and they answered all emails quick + it took them one day to install it so i got my ps2 a week after i sent it.I definitely recommed them.

i used steel city electronics also , but they did change there name to trustedmods.com . same people though

why just get hdloder alot batter since you dont fuck around with it the system dont have to open it or anything alot easyer to works with and takes me 10 min to install since its only a hard drive and a pogram its nothing and its cheaper becouse you only rent the games and dont have to buy them for $10 or $15 bucks or you can event download them into your ps2 wich it really wearth it its more then mod but its weart it you save alot of money in the longrun
