this is what i think is making shrink and decrypter realllly slow... after i burned about 18-24 movies with shrink and decrypter, it all started going slow, so is it possible that shrink and decrypter are starting to go slow becasue ive used it too much?
and it started right around the time i tried burning wedding date(which i can see from the threads, no1 can burn)
so what do you think is the problem??

saw just finished encoding with dvdshrink and it took roughly 2 hours, now i am going to burn it with decrypter using a sony DVD-R,120min/4.7gb dvd (i always used these, so theyre probably not the problem) when it finishes burning(if it does, because a lot like love didn't)i will tell you

Are any other programs running slow? could be a hardware or software issue on the computer. You could always reinstall shrink and decryptor and see if it still happens. If it does, i would say the problem is outside of those programs. Maybe even try it in clean boot.

gules3000,
Did you d/l the registry cleaner as suggested and while you are at it do a Memtest on the computer to see if there is a problem there;
Memtest can be found here and it is free:
http://www.memtest86.com/
While running the test if any thing stops then the problem is the computer and not the programs.

gules3000,
Here are the instructions
Windows Installation
For windows installation begin by downloading either the Pre-Compiled Windows package to build a boot-able floppy disk or an ISO (zip version) to create a boot-able CDROM. After the file is downloaded an extract must be done to uncompress the file(s). To extract right click on the downloaded file and select the "Extract All" option. The extract option will let you choose where the files will be extracted to. To build a bootable floppy go the the folder where the files were extracted and click on the Install icon. The floppy disk will appear to be unformatted by Windows after the install is complete.
To build a boot-able CDROM use your CD burning software to create an image from the un-zipped ISO file.
Since Memtest86 is a standalone program it does not require any operating system support for execution. It can be used with any PC regardless of what operating system, if any, is installed. The test image may be loaded from a floppy disk or may be loaded via LILO on Linux systems. Any Unix, Windows or DOS system may be used to create a boot floppy or bootable CDROM.

No.
Are u sure it is a problem with scratches? Try running AnyDVD in the background and then use Shrink.
PS: Burning 18-24 movies is NOTHING, members here have burned over 300, so that is definetly not the problem.

Ltoro ,
Start a new topic thread. In that thread include your computer specs, burner's make and model # , Blank media you are using, Program used to copy movie when you got the problem and exactly what you did when you started the burning procedure. We will pick up the help when you do that as you are not supposed to start a new topic w/in another topic
