Hey,
I've read the faq and searched around the forums some.
I want to mod my PS2 in order to play import games, and backup'd import games. Does Swap Magic work with import games that are backup'd on a dvd-r? If not, are there any specific chips you would recommmend? (Many of them say they only load "ORIGINAL import games," so I wanted to make sure they can load backups of my import games too... so just making sure...)

Sounds like you have a V7 PS2. Swap Magic does work with import games that are original or backed up - regardless of whether they are PAL or NTSC. The best chip for your system would be the DMS4 Pro which auto boots everything - original/back up, single layer/dual layer, PAL/NTSC etc - without any interaction from you.
