Okay, ive now finally figured out what i want to get ...and i realise i am not able to copy ps - black disc games with disc loader to my HDD - so wht i was wondering is if it would be possible to copy these games to my computer then burn them onto a dvd -r and then insert them in my ps2 and make a backup copy of that perticular game. Also i was reading a lot of threads and i noticed i need a flip top cover - if i was going to do the copying like this would i still need that flip top if all i was doing was copying it to my hdd and then play it from there the rest of the time?

first of all, some games dont work on hd loader(check here http://ps2hd.com/ for games that work or dont). second, u cant put burnt games on hd loader, unless u usue winhiip(google it). last, if u want to play burnt games u have a couple of choices: mod chip, flip top, slide card. if u use a flip top or slide card u will also need a swap magic cd, but if u get a mod chip(solder skills required and a little pricey), then they will play like normal games.
