DVD Decrypter Not Recognizing Blank discs

My DVD Decrypter is suddenly Not Recognizing Blank discs OR recorded discs.
Have a Sony DRU 530 worked a few months until yesterday.
Keeps saying "Medium not present" OR
"Device not ready: Incompatible medium installed"
Help !

what discs are you using ?

I'm using Verbatim, Fuji, TDK, HPackard, & occas. Office Depot brand (they guarentee). Never had a problem before. Thanks

Thats what I suggest trying too. You may even need to disable the IDE channel your dvdrw is on and reboot and let windows reenable it.
