ok so i just got my swap magic and card today in the mail (v 3.6) and i have a really damaged version of FFX that no longer reads ( the reason i bought swap magic) so i am backin up my friends game so i can still have a playable copy, in ne case is there n e thing more i need to do then just use Alcohol 120% to make and burn the image, it says that the disc is not PS2 format when i use swap magic, any help would be great , thanks!

make sure ur using the right swap magic disc, u should have 2, a cd and a dvd one.

Make sure you're using good media.. DVD-R Perfered
some PS2's don't like the +R Format... and burn at a slow speed like 2x 4x max

well i'll be damned lol , i am useing +R would that more than likely cause it i can't see how it would but i mean i am new to all this too

i mean i can alwasy go buy a pack of 5 or 10 just to see i mean i have a monster spool of +Rs lol but i mean i am willing to try n e thing.

I'll let u know how that experiment turns out

ok guys well u were alot of help and i learned alot but i found out my problem .... i wasn't locking the cd tray when reinserting a game disc... atleast i know my problem now as noobish as it was thanks again u've all been great!
