DVD Shrink 3.2, DVDDecrypter, DVDFab Decrypter, non were succeful at even starting to decrypt the movie. DVDDecrypter fails to read sectors and DVD Shrink gives an error message about some kind of cyclical reading error, and DVDFab just hangs after about 76%.

Dnld AnyDVD. Has 21day trial period then must pay to use, but is excellent and is updated often. This runs in the background so you don't have to do anything to it. Pop in your disc and use DVD Shrink to compress if needed and burn with Nero, Clone DVD or Decrypter or whatever you're using.

Sounds like you have a bad disk, a dirty disk, or a drive that needs to have the laser lens cleaned. That movie has no special protection or unusual tracks.

Clean your drive lens, clean the disk, then try to copy the entire disk to your Hard Drive with DVD Decrypter in File Mode. If it errors out, you will either have to get a different disk, or a different burner.

Some burners just flat won't read some disks. I have 5 burners for just that problem. I have had as many as 4 of them that could not read a disk, but never have had all 5 refuse to do so...
