I had a dvd burner i was using with nero and dvd shrink and it died a few weeks ago and now i cant get dvd shrink to burn to the other burner instead of the one that doesnt work anymore. how do i get dvd shrink to use the other burner instead of using the old one that doesnt work anymore because it is still in the computer.

When you hit the backup button just pick burn with Nero and your drive in the target device setting. Here is a guide that shows you how to use Shrink and the settings.

Thats the problem when i hit backup and hit burn with Nero it doesnt show my other drive it just shows the old one that doesnt work anymore.

I'd pull out the drive that doesn't work,or unhook the power cable and ide cables incase you don't have the cover to fill the open slot for your tower.

Double check the jumpers on the new drive. I'm not sure how you have them configured.
