Hi i have a question i want to buy the benq laserscribe but im not getting alot of feedback on this. are the Ritek 4x DVD-R Inkjet Printable dvd's compatible with the burner. or i could use any type. if anyone has one please send me all the useful hints. please.

 ... I assumt that you mean "Lightscribe" ... And .. to use the Light Scribe feature, you need Lightscribe discs ... Such as

I haven't heard a whole lot about the benq 1625.Usually just firmware issues with the few posts I have seen about them.Very good and highly compatable burners.

If it is even remotely close to both my benq 1620's, they highly favor the plus format media.Especially when they are booktyped to dvd-rom.There is a huge compatability difference between my benq booktyped dvd-rom backups and my dash backups.My dash backups do have a little harder time being recognized by my stand alones.

It should do regular cd and dvd -dual format/lightscribe/thermal printable/dual layer/and inkjet printable media.Just make sure the media is of very good to high quality.
