Hello, newby here. I downloaded the latest version ov dvd43 3.6.2 and it did not work for I Robot or Appleseed (japanese animation) I read a comment where someone stated the new version does not work w/ Nero and to use old version 3.6.1. I deleted newer and got older and still won't work. It seems a lot of people are using a different programs not Nero. I hate to buy another program like Clone or 1Click, any suggestions?

You can either use DVD Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter both are free and rip to your hard drive and then burn with Nero. Otherwise try AnyDVD because it works and it is money well spent, there is a 21 day free trial period for the program and for CloneDVD, which is also excellent. I and some others have not had success using DVD43.

when you say doesn't work with Nero 6, what do you mean?
do you mean Nero recode 2, or just straight burning of VOB files after copying to a folder?
thanks, Mark

This just happened to me:
I trued to rip the movie TRAFFIC and DECRYPTER & SHRINK gave me a lot of errors.
After I changed my setting from Nero to ISO Decrypter (or words to that effect) it ripped perfectly.
I just adjusted the slider to 51.3% and at this precise moment it´s ripping 7.4GBs into one 4.7GB DVD.

I too have experienced problems since using DVD43 with Nero 6.6
The problems are not with burning DVDs, which it has worked perfectly for me. I now have a problem when burning data or music CDs. Upon completion, when Nero opens the drive, the computer reboots. When restarting the computer, windows (XP Home) comes up with a message stating that the computer has recovered from a serious problem, caused by program DVD43, contact vendor for fix.
I've never had a problem burning audio or data CDs before the install of DVD43. Any suggestions? I have DVD43 version 3.6.2.111.
Thanks,
Surf
