Can somebody give me a name and/or location of a good dvd-burner w/ dual layer capabilities and has been tested to backup ps2 games.

Pretty much any DVD burner will work fine.

I bought mine at Walmart around a year ago...

It is a LiteOn 8x dual layer burner and I believe I payed $90 (U.S) for it, and can find them much cheaper now even. I've had no problems what-so-ever w/ any game I have backed up, have it being for Xbox or PS2.

At Best Buy I bought a Sony 8X DRU-710A for $100.00 after the mail in rebate.It's a great burner....
