First off is it a DVD based game? To find out look on the back of the case and it will either say compact disc or DVD-ROM? I think its dvd based. If its dvd based you will need a dvd burner, a good blank dvd, and DVDDecrypter its free from afterdawn. If its cd based you will need a cd burner, a good blank cd, and cloneCD or Alcohol 120% can be used to backup cd based games, im not sure what else can do cd games?

Its a DVD disc, but i dont think dvd decryptor will help. What im trying to say is that i first put my game into my drive and copied the whole game(which has many files)into a folder. Now, i have edited some of the songs on it and i would like to burn it. All im trying to do basically is to find a good burning program and thats it. But its not possible to copy my changes back ONTO the original game is it? I hope you understand what i mean, So if you could recommend a good burner, i would appreciate it.

No you cant copy the files onto the original game. And most people use pioneer burners, but any good name brand should work, pioneer, sony, etc.
Burning 1:1 copys:
Dvd Decrypter can burn ps2 games, first you go MODE>ISO>READ and select where you want the file and then decrypt it and then you just go to MODE>ISO>WRITE select you image and speed and away you go :)

I tryed doing that with a game using DVD Decrypter(ISO Read and Write), and when I play the disc using swap magic 3.6 with the slide tool, it says not a PS2 disc.

There's something like 12 versions of the Ps2 not including the slim Ps2, each version varies in hardware I.E. laser, motherboards etc, it's meant to prevent the almighty "Disc Read Error"

people I need help big time and I don't no where to post for it...
I have Swap Magic 3.6, and my PS2 is open so you can say its Flip-Top
FIRST GAME EVER I burnt on my DVD writer was "The Puncher" and it works perfectly, right after it I burnt Driver 3... However, that does not work... it loads on to a black screen and that is it, the CD keeps spinning but nothing happens!
Today I rented "Tekken 5" & "Batman Begins" ... copied them the same way as I did puncher, but this time it tells me *Not A Valid PS2 CD*
I?m confused... the files on the original DVD-CD and the backup are identical, what the hell could be the problem? I need serious help, because I am being stressed and pissed and annoyed by this!
If you must know:
-Used DvD-Encrypter
-Read the game on to C:/ Drive
-Burnt The ISO File that was extracted to the C Drive at 4x & 2x
-DVD-R being used x8 speed Samsung pleomax
-Sony double layer DVD writer with 16x speed and the whole deal!
But yea... I did the steps over n over for all other games, but only the first "The puncher" worked... =S
PLEAS HELP SOMEHOW, anything would be great! Thanks
F.T who i be...
