ok so i used this SLUS # i found online to make a PS2 exploit cd with independence compiler and i ran it through my slide magic and all is good it said it install sucessfully, now tho how do i run my exploits on my MC??? i am new to this please be patient :)

Put your PS1 disc with the corresponding SLUS # into the PS2 with the exploited memory card in slot 1. If its still not clear, this site here has very good details and a good exploit-making kit:

Also, this thread belongs in the Software boot forum not Hardware boot.

well thats not so good, i used a SLUS i found online cuz i only own 1 ps1 game and its Final Fantasy 7 and i still like to play it and what not so i dont wanna ruin it and have to use it all the time for that so is there n e way i can make a dummy cd so that i dont have to use it?

Nope it has to be an original CD. Just go to a store and get one of those cheap $5 Greatest Hits games or whatever to be your exploit disc.

so i used my copy of FF7 and whenever i wanna play that i just have to take out my PS2 memory card thats no big deal :) now to figure out Cog Swap :P lol
