first i was going to open my PS2 check out a little white thing used for the slide card, i decided that it may be risky, so i put the screws back in place and everything, but when i then tried to turn it on to see how it work it didn't even turn on, nor the green and blue lights, please help me what can i do to fix it back so it can turn on.
did u try the switch on the back?.. or the power outlet you're plugging it into?... the ps2 was exceptionally easy to dismantle and work with so dont sweat it you'll work fine with yours. my only other guess is you snapped the ribbon cable between the unit and your on/off - eject buttons.... about a 10$ replacement so check it all out and post if ya still havin trouble ;) good luck
Thanks i already fixed, do you actually know by case if there is another way of playing backuped games instead of using the slide tool, i know the flipover and the chip but i actually want a way so that i wouln't spend money, for me it is very hard with the slide tool.
I dont use slide cards but insert it from the left side of the tray, move slowly to the right side until you feel it hit something, pull slide card back a few millimeters and continue sliding right till you feel the tray gives and just pull it out.
