I'm new here, obviously, and would appreciate any help with the following:

I've got a bunch of DVD+/-Rs that I've accumulated by recording stuff on my dvd recorder off of cable. Now I want to spice them up, and add some menus to them. For example, a wrestling pay-per-view has roughly 8 matches on it. I'm hoping I can take my DVD+R, rip it, and then create a menu, and then burn it.

I've got DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink (latest versions of both) downloaded, and have Nero 6.6 coming with my external DVD+/-RW drive. Yeah, I don't have my DVD burner yet. I just would appreciate some advice before I get it, so I can just start ripping and burning to DVD when I get it. With creating menus being the area I would appreciate help with. Sorry if this is a repeat thread; I did a few searches and couldn't really find what I was looking for. Also, I didn't post in the Nero specific forum since I'm not looking for help with a Nero product per se. Sorry for all of the rambling!

Where were you when we were getting high?

Thanks Minion. Nero 6.6 doesn't have any authoring applications on it? Like I said in my first post, that's coming with my burner so I don't have the software yet to know what exactly it has on it.

Ok, thanks. Is that on Nero 6.6 by any chance? Also, if there are any good, freeware DVD authoring programs I'll try them out instead. Is DVDLab free?

NVE is part of the full Nero package. The full Nero package has a 30-day free trial if you end up with a version of Nero Lite with your burner. Some other authoring progs like TPMGEnc Author also have free trials or at least that used to be the case.
