Creating multi-game disks... Question about ripping

I know that when you rip a game it will take up the full mini-dvd capacity no matter how small the game is. I'd like to be able to create multi-game disks, but I do not know how to remove the unused data (dummy files).
There are many titles that obviously aren't even close to filling the entire disk (Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart)...
It seems wasteful to burn every game to thier own DVD when I could fit 2 or 3 in a DVD.
Thank You!!!

Well say you could fit 2 or the 3 games on a disk. How could you possibly play them? I've never heard of a multi-gamed disk other then snes roms and such.

It can be done on Xbox, but I haven't heard anything about it being done on GameCube.
I think you're asking for something that hasn't been done yet.

Venom5880 and xxsaijin:
I wasn't asking if it could be done, because I KNOW it can be done!
Qoob chips support it this feature (In fact, it's even stated AT WWW.QOOBCHIP.COM). I have the tool to combine ISO and GCM. I only modded my Cube this morning and I have already put multiple games on one DVD successfully.
I was asking if I could get help in removing the dummy files myself, instead of having to download copies of games I already have just for the smaller size.

Directly off the QOOB website:
"+ Supports multi-game discs (game compilations on one disc)"
When you boot the compilation disk, the Qoob Bios will let you select which game you want to load.
And it's even easier to put multiple game on one disk for Gamecube than it is for Xbox (which is more trouble than it's worth).

Anyway, i'd still like some help with removing the unused space in game iso/gcm.
Thanks in advance.

I know that can be done, as many download sites remove the dummy space to speed up downloads. The only problem here is that the backups only work when they are streamed to the gamecube. If you want to be able to play them backed up in a physical media format, I think you need the dummy data :(

If it's anything like PS2, I think you can probably replace the dummy files by deleting them and replacing them with renamed empty text documents.
The site below has put Luigi's Mansion in the same DVD as Mario Party 6 (see picture).
I have Luigi's Mansion ripped to my computer and the ISO is the full 1.35GB. =(

Got help elsewhere. A later version of "Viper Multi Boot Iso Creator" that I got reduces ISO size automatically. It will also fill in the remaining unused space to reach the full 1.35GB that the Gamecube disks need.
Just thought I'd let you guys know so that you guys can burn Multigame DVDs too.

I found out you can use FSTFIX to make them work from a DVD.

I personally like single game disks, seems more organized then fitting 2-3 games onto one disk. But thats just me. LOL.

One more thing. How do I change the background on my Qoob loading screen? The original seems so blah.

You have Qoob pro right? Just flash the background to another slot in the flasher. In the bios menu, you can select which background will come up if you have multiple backgrounds. This will only work with more recent versions of the bios though.

I use TDK 8x DVD-R from Circuit City for my Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube games. They're only $9.99 for a spindle of 25. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/TDK-DVD-Rs-DVDMR47DCB25-/sem/rpsm/...
I've had better results with these out of everything I tried. I've burned at least 30 DVDs with the TDK and they all worked. With Ritek media, I had 2 games not work from the 10 DVDs I made. It depends on your burner.
I used to only burn at 1x, but i've found that 4x works for me just as well. My burner is a Pioneer A09XL.

Hi Guys, I just put the qoob chip in my GC (first time with a soldering iron) and to my supprise it works!!! I thought I was in for some real problems after researching in this forum as the success rates seem to vary.
Anyway.... I'm really interested in the whole multi game disk thing. If games shrink down to 180MB and 32MB, you should be able to get loads on the same DVD (Obviously that depends on the game). Could anyone provide a how to guide?
How to v0.1 (Draft)....
1. Get gmc or iso file from your backup collection :o).
2. Get rid of all the crap data from each image using ?????
3. Merge all the small images you want with ????? as long as you keep below the max size (1.3GB)
4. Add all the crap on again to make the new image the correct size.
5. Burn this image and let qoob do the rest
If only it was this easy as I'm just guessing. Can someone fill in the blanks or change it so this is correct?
Thanks all :o)

I kind of aready said what you need to use in my posts, but i'll type some steps anyway.
1. The smiley face tells me you already know how to get ISOs to your computer. =D
2-4. Get Viper Multi Boot ISO Creator.
This will answer questions 2 through 4.
http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=4801&page=7 Download V1.3b that 'pCeSlAyEr' posted on 7/15/05. I think that's the newest one.
2 & 3. First click on output name, and name the image whataver you want, make it end with .iso if you want to burn with nero.
Then Add the ISO/GCM. When you do this, it will remove the garbace space for you and tell you the actual size each game.
Then it will add it to the ISO/GCM and show up on the list on the right.
If a game is too large, it will let you know.
NOTE: Sometimes the program would appear to freeze while adding some games. Just leave it on and once the ISO is finished being added, it will unfreeze itself.
You can also rename each game, this is self explanatory. It just edits the game title. The you'll see the title when you select which game to load on the DVD (see the picture I posted in a previous post to see what that looks like)
I'm glad they have this, it REALLY bugs me when some games are in ALL CAPS (like Luigi's Mansion).
When you are finished, click on Quit. It will ask you if you are sure you want to quit, say yes.
4. Then it will ask if you want to make the ISO to 1.35GB... YES
5. Then just burn the image with Nero just like a regular Gamecube ISO.
When you put the disk into the Gamecube, it will let you select which game to load.
I'm a slow typer... I hope I helped!
