Ok so i have downloaded Tommy Boy into my Computer, its a DVDrip and its an Avi file.....can i burn this onto a CD-R with a CD Burner since the size of the movie is 657MB??? OR only DVD?? thanks..if theres an extra procedure please explain thanks!

Guess that depends on what you are trying to acheive.

You can burn it on a CD as and .AVI file, but don't expect it to play back on a DVD player (unless you have a player that plays DivX and it's DivX encoded).

If you want it to play back as a DVD you need to convert it w/ a program like WinAVI or DVDSanta.
