Noob question here. But do the different programs offer any advantages in preserving video/audio quality. Or are they all pretty much the same. Any good faqs to read on what I need to look for to achieve a good rip?
My personal favorites #1 1 click dvd copy with AnyDVD, #2 dvd-cloner2 (has built in decryption). Both of these offer great compression with video quality. DVD Shrink with Nero is a time tested and free program but it is no longer updated plus you will need DVD43, dvd decryptor, or AnyDVD also to break copy protection.

oh yeah, how about decrypter/rebuilder wirh HC. they are all free and better then decrypter/shrink combo.
