I had a really hard time, at first, understanding the cogswap loader. In fact at times it still puzzles me. I made many coasters at first just trying to make an exploit. Thanks to L-burna I got my first working exploit (thank you if you see this). What I would like to do with this thread is to get a solid working knowledge of this loader. There is so much junk to go through on these forums it seems like there has to be an easier way. Please, please, please someone help me figure this out the rest of the way.

Here is what I know
1. PS1 game loads exploit
2. to load CD based games do the slide card trick at the PSX CDROM sreen, insert PS2 backup, and press X.
3. To load DVD based games hit eject at the PS2 PSXCDROM screen, put in an original high TOC DVD PS2 game, wait, at PS2DVDROM screen press X, now it should say use cogswap, use the slide card trick to put your PS2 backup DVD, and finally pres X.
4. Applications such as HDloader, PS2Reality, SNES station, just to name a few, can be loaded using the slide card trick.

Cogswap Theories
1. How to boot high TOC games.
I downloaded Swap Magic 3.6 and extracted all the files. Then I used CDDVDGEN to rebuild into a DVD iso. I used the LBA trick to put the system file on the very outside of the disk. This gives me a total size of 4.37 GB. I could not load Tekken 5 (if I understand correctly not many people had a problem with this game) even with a TOC refresh using San Andreas. So what I did was use the slide card trick at the use Cogswap screen and put in my 3.6 disk, loaded it, then I did the slide card again, put in burned Tekken 5, and loaded it. This allowed me to boot Tekken 5. I am not sure if this disk works like DVD loader, maybe I didnt need to rebuild it at all, and if so does this create a swap magic disk with a higher TOC? Could this be a solution for people who have low TOC games? I believe so. I used Summoner as a TOC disk, which is a little over a Gig, and I can not boot pretty much all of my games. I used the cogswap + low Toc game(Summoner) + the swap magic rebuild and backups boot. If this actually works like I believe it would be simpler than downsizing games and rebuilding them, unless if you have a dual layer game of course. I guess the research continues. I will post new findings. Happy gaming.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
