I used dvdshrink to burn alexander the directors cut...I just bought a sony dvdrw and sony cd-r blank discs and alexander is the first one i tiried...I followed the instructions on dvdshrink to a "t" and when i went to play the movie, after nero burnt the disc, the cd worked except for that even when u click on play movie from the title screen on the dvd player it plays the directors commentary from the bonus features and not the regular movie ...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

is it that dvdshrink didnt recognize the disc as a dual layer and maybe only did the single layer??? i dont even know if thats whats on the/or the only thing on one layer of the original disc???

My advice to u would b use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink and CloneDVD 2 and u must read the guide in my sig it will really help u out...

When you backup under compression setting choose the 5.1 sound and uncheck the 2 channel, usually the directors comments are on the 2 channel. Also, if you have an audio button on your remote, see if that will change the audio to 5.1 sound and your DVD might play.
