K-Lite Codec Pack v2.48 Install guide (works also with older versions)

Please send PM if you find anything to fix or if here is some language mistakes...

If you do not know much about codecs, I think that you should try with these setting.
This guide has made for "normal" users only, no professional users.

I test these settung usin K-Lite Codec Pack v2.48 and K-Lite Mega Codec Pack v1.32.

Download K-Lite (Mega) Codec Pack from AfderDawnn software site.
When it`s done, run .exe and follow this guide.

First there will be (or not) some window what tell that you have QuickTime/RealPlayer allready installed. And it ask that do you want to uninstall them. You should anwer NO if they are working. K-Lite Codec Pack have alternative programs for them if you have not install them allready.

Just push Next

So this is last poin where u can/must delete (uninstall) all audio/video codecs.
I you look down (scroll down) you can find list of all codec what you can install. And there is also some info about what the are.

IMPORTANT. Depens about the version of your K-Lite these list can be look diffrent... Just try to find right things there.
When we are page where you chose what to install just keep looking these pictures.

Gray: do not install
Black: install
Blue: I (or XP) allready have these

Press Next.
Now chose folder (Browse)? and/or just press Next.

And now we chose what we want. Look at the pictures (up)

Press Next.

Dow do changes if you want and press Next.

Do you want shotcuts? Now is time to chose them.
And now pick what media you want to open with MPC (if u install it)
pres Next.

Now you will see what u have chosen. If OK pres Next.

After fast install you will see next window.

If you install Alternative (QuickTime / Real Player) they will be shown now.
If you want to end installing press Finnish, but if you want to make some changes put cross and press Finsih.

Just for testing I install Real Alternativ so I can show next step.

If you put cross and press Finish you will see next window.

Press Next.

Chose your internet connection and other info and press Next.

That was it.
