I have seen that people have some problame with codecs.

This is translation of my Finnish guide:

Please send PM if you find anything to fix or if here is some language mistakes...

What I can do if I cant see or hear nothing in my videofile?
- problame is usual that you do not have right codec or you have too many of them. You should make sure that all connections are OK (audio/video cable).


1. Delete all audio/video codecs (pack and single)

Here is codecs that keep people happy:
FFDShow http://fin.afterdawn.com/ohjelmat/video_ohjelmat/videocodecit/ffd...
AC3 http://download.divxmovies.com/ac3filter_0_70b.exe (new ffdshow have this)
- FFDSHOW is a DirectShow decoding filter for decompressing several video formats, including DivX, XviD, WMV, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 movies


If you want to install all codecs, then read more.

Audio codecs (can be found in ADs site)
AC3 http://download.divxmovies.com/ac3filter_0_70b.exe
DivX ;-) http://download.divxmovies.com/divx_audio_402.zip
MPEG-1 Layer 3 http://download.divxmovies.com/mp3codec.zip
Ogg Vorbis http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-ogg.htm



3. You will also need player to watch videos. (can be found in ADs site)

BSplayer http://www.bsplayer.org/
VLC media player http://videolan.org/vlc/


4. Subtitles would also be nice.

5. Can`t see some video? Test that what codec you are missing:
