I'll start this with...I'm a newbie so I may be in the wrong forum....I apologize for that....I've never had a problem ripping/burning a DVD so far but I'm curious as to what to do for Optimum Quality...for example, with CloneDVD2 (i use AnyDVD running in the background)....i can either rip it as a DVD file (IFO/VOB) or an ISO/UDF image...I've tried both and both work seemingly the same....could somebody explain to me the difference between the two? Whether it be time, quality, or whatever....I'd appreciate any help I can get....thanks guys

to the best of my knowledge what ur using with the assistance of DVD Decryter and DVD Shrink with CloneDVD 2 it works like a charm the diffrence in quality i havent seen much and im not sure of the tech specs of the diffrences... for me if it looks good and the sound is good then its all good :)

Is that any good :P hehehehehe

Whatever the default setting is for CloneDVD2 (IFO/VOB)
That is what i use and have had no problems.
This is the file structure that is already on the
DVD in the Video TS folder, so i see no reason
to convert it to an ISO
That is such a great combo for doing DVD's
Your quality is more often due to the ratio
of compression, rather than the file type
