Burning mpg problems

Here is what I am trying to do I have many music videos on my hard drive in .mpg files I usually burn with nero but can only fit about 20 videos without losing quality. Is there a way to burn these files with dvd shrink and put more videos on one dvd? If not what program should I use to do this. What do I need to do to fit more videos on dvd without losing quality and I would also like to add menues and what not?

Will your DVD player play divx/xvid? If so you can prolly get better
quality video at the same bitrate using dixv or XviD. Don't know about menus though.

One thing you can try too is using DivXtoDVD free version. You can input several mpeg files and get one output VIDEO_TS folder for burning. It seems to be pretty stingy on bitrate. They claim they don't pad the bits just to get to a certain bitrate etc.. If it's better than using DVD Shrink you'd have to compare for yourself.
