I have backed up a few of my dvd's to single layer DVD-R, using DVD decrypter and Roxio. I tell Roxio to burn only the main movie, but there is still compression, it shows about 85-90% compression. The movie looks good, but the audio is not as clear as it should be. It is understandable for most of the movie, but parts that are low volume are hard to understand. Is this a result of the extra compression Roxio is doing to fit the entire 2 hour movie on a single layer dvd? Or is there something else I look into?
