I purchased my DVDX platinum through 321 and have upgraded my computer and after having to format and reload due to windows problems and Pinnacle problems, I cannot now activate my software. Says I have used my 7 allotments. I didn't buy allotments, I purchased software to use. Does anyone know how I can get my software activated again? So for all I have got is a automated response to buy an upgrade for more money. Thanks for any help anyone can supply on this problem.

I'm in the same boat, so I'll be looking for someone's solution also.

321 is no more so you'll have to cross your fingers and fill out a ticket here

You will get better help asking X-Copy questions in the X-Copy forum

Well I recieved 3 activation times, and activated my software, but it is extremely slow and hangs up and will not work. If this is the best they have to offer, I'll pass on their "new version" of DVD X Copy, as I think it will probably end up the same as the 321. A piece of junk. I did find some free software that burns DVD copies called DVD Shrink, that so far works great.

Yeah there are much better programs than X-Copy. DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink are a good combo and are both free.

I no longer want to buy software that has the online activations, I think they just do this so you have to keep repurchasing their software. I had Sound Forge and they do the same thing, with there activation policy. Better to move on from Xcopy, there is much better programs available and at a cheaper price.

I had a similar problem. I bought 2 copies of DVDXCOPY Plat from an online vender and my activation was refused by the server. I opened a trouble ticket and went back and forth with support. They had me do numerous reg cleans, etc. Nothing worked. Thats when they said "Ohm well, to bad so sad, have a nice day."

I finally had to do it myself. Now I am using it and really enjoy the simplicity of the software.

If you need a shove in the right direction, shoot me an email at
