why will my copy of uefa champions league not work?

Hi all,
i have made several attempts at copying uefa champions league 2004-2005.i am using nero and sometimes dvd decrypter and the swap magic disc and slide card.the game will copy fine every time and will only go as far as loading screen when copy is used then stop.i also had this problem with fifa street.HELP ANYONE!!!!!!

If i remember correctly, Fifa Street needed to be
patched to work right
May be the problem with the other game as well.
Have you tried loading the game using Swap Magic
special load feature? It is usually pressing square
instead of pressing X after you swap for your back up.

i have donloaded patch onto a DVD-R disc and extracted all files but when i try it nothing happens.does anyone have a step by step guide as i have never done this before
