Getting Ps1 backups to work through Elf Loader...

I'm running LaunchELF On my SCPH-30001 R Playstation 2. Now I've heard that you can use the browser option to load Ps1 backups. Is this true? If so can you direct me how to use it exactly because i've also heard that you have to use a different boot disc that has a large table of contents. Thanks.

cogswap is what you want i beleive,there is some good tutrorials to makeing the disk.

I've heard that you can only do it on a V9 (SCPH 50001) Model.... it works on mine... but it didn't work on my V7 (SCPH 39001) it would just go to the PS1 logo and lock up...so I bought a V9 at the pawn shop and sold my V7 on ebay (broke even too). Anyway... If you do get a V9...when you start launch.elf under the MISC option you will see PS2 Browser...which will take you back to the memory card screen...and it will show the memory card and the black PS1 disc...(which WON'T be spinning) now you swap for your backup (fliptop/slide card/knife/etc.) game boots.... also you can use a PS1 Gameshark or Action Replay ...not sure about AR, but the game shark must be V 4 or earlier...I have a game shark lite... ans it is awsome..you can find them on Ebay really cheap...then lastly you can get Breaker pro, which is very simalar to Swap Magic . Breaker Pro has a very high T.O.C. and can boot almost any PS1 game...however I never could get it to work on my V7 but once I got the V9 it worked like a charm...I noticed that the PS1 driver was different too,,,I'm guessing that's why.... now to Bird7 how are you booting PS1 backups with the cogswap loader? I've never got this to work, I'm hoping your right though and I'm just doing something wrong... Please explain :) Exploitstation is a one of my all time favorite sites maybe I'll check there again.....
