Anyone tried it? I've read you can have voice conversations with better quality than Skype.

any opinions?

Ive been using for for a couple days and i love it! i hope it catches on as much as aim, ive been using the phone service, and its really clear, and dosent use alot of youre bandwidth, me and a friend were both usign the voip phone, and while in counterstike maintainted a constant average ping. My only complaint would be the lack of sending documents, and images, google has some great programers working there, they a new innovative app, prog, w/e everymonth or so, it must be going great for them.

btw, feel free to pm me for my gmail acc email, so anyone can chat and try this app out!

The sound is slightly better than Skype, it uses a little less bandwidth, and it's easier(for me) since all my friends have gmail.
The only complaints i have is that there's no user info/picture and file exchange functions yet, but you can bet that those are on the way, so overall, a great new prog, very promising
