Hey i was looking at norcalmods.com(trusted site)and they offer an installlation of an Apple Pro with the chip for only $25!

Anyone have any experience with this chip??

Its the same price as the swap magic/flip top so for people that dont want to be spending $100 should get this......

BTW im scared of the laser burning and stuff, i have a v5 should i worry about it or is it only with the slims????thanks

the older versions don't have the same problem as the slims. however, the fact that the laser is reading dvdr, does wear the laser faster then original games (obviously)

i heard of the matrix infinity and the dms series being the best. the rest of the chips tend to wear on the BA chip that controls ejecting, laser movement and other stuff. once the BA chip goes, then you can replace it but it is a pain.

i personally have not heard or have any experience with Apple Pro
