HEllo,
i have successfully made a backup of my game Brian Lara on to a Maxwell DVD-RW.
i HAVE TRIED THE COPied game on my chipped ps2(messiah 2) and it doesnt read it!
Can a chipped ps2 play games which are copied on to DVD-RW?

No
I believe most or all like -R and some will also accept +R

it also depends on the chip. i know the matrix infinity is suppose to play dvd+/- RW. a lot of other modchips don't support RW media

i don't know about the messiah 2.

How do you remove copy right protection form a game you want to copy?

PS2 games don't have protections aside from the initial boot check, so if you can boot it, there should be no other problems. Also, I wouldn't use any kind of rewritable CD/DVD unless you want to wear out your PS2 laser quickly.

Edit: Also, don't post the same question multiple times. It's annoying as hell. Just once is enough.

When you insert a disc, PS2 checks the Burst Cutting Area on the disc for a special code. This area is on the inside of the disc, and most CD/DVD writers sold to consumers are not capable of writing data there. A modchip's purpose is to 'tell' the PS2 that a burned disc has this code in the BCA. Once the BCA check is over, the PS2 will happily execute all the code on the disc, without attempting any further authentication.
