I couldn't find anything about this here at AD. This site has some great software for free! I use the PhotoPlus 6.0, and I will try some of the other apps as well.
It has ALL the tools for editing and customizing images. I think it's a great alternative to Adobe PhotoShop and PaintShop (especially since it's free). I was looking to purchase either the Adobe or Corel, but no need to now!
Guys/gals outta check this one out. Might save you some $$$

I did "hear" that they used to spam a lot in the past, but I have yet to get any unusual spam mail. It has been a few weeks since I installed it. The only mail that I have received is ONE email offering me the latest retail version at a discounted price. Even so, use a yahoo or hotmail address to register. Like I said, though, I have yet to receive any spam from them or any other "new" entities since installing. I think it might just be something that they might have engaged in in the past and have since "cleaned up their act."
The software has more than enough features for me!!! I just might purchase the latest retail version. With the discount that they offered, it is under 20 bucks!!!!

That site looks kind of interesting. Esp. since there's PhotoShop plugin support in PhotoPlus. Some people swear by Gimp for Windows as a free PhotoShop alternative. I haven't used it much myself but it seems to install and run ok on XP.
