Hi all. I just wanted to know if anyone has tried to back-up 24 Season 1,2, or 3? These are the only DVD's that I can't get to work. I have tried DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, DVD X Copy Platinum, and others. Nothing I have works. Anyone have any help? Thanks

When u say u cant back them up... What jinda of errors do u get... can we c an erro log so we can rule out vad media or scratches etc...

try running a progarm called AnyDVD in the background with dvd shrink

The message is always "This DVD Is Encrypted With CSS And Can Not Be Copied". I did get it to copy using "I Copy DVD's 2" and DVD43 in the backgound, but it will not play. I'll try running "Any DVD". The thing about DVD43 is it kept locking my computer up and I had to uninstall it.

disable DVD43 and use decrypter to hard drive and shrink to compress. for some decrypter and DVD43 running together causes problems.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

I have backed all the "24" seasons with using shrink and Nero with no problem.Like to hear what the problems you are having??

I just loaded AnyDVD and it doesn't help. (I tried it with DVD Decrypter and Clone DVD) I even tried Alcohal 120% (with AnyDVD running) and it would get to about the 50% point of reading (the same place as the others) and say: "Failed to read file E:\" "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)"

*klinger, how did you use Shrink and Nero? Even when I use Shrink, it gives me the message that it's protected and do I want to proceed anyway... I haven't tried Nero (Just got it on a new computer. I'll try it next)
