Ok i have High-Speen internet and I think my provider is Rogers.
There is a cable (You know like cable TV) and it connect to a Modem, and from that modem is an Ethernet cable and I used that to connect to my PS2 Slimline Ethernet port. I know what my IP Address is, but I have no idea what my Netmask, Defaul Router, and Primary and Secondary DNS is. So how do I figure out what those are. I tried connecting/setting a network up using a game and the Online Start-Up Disc v3.0 that came with my PS2. I need help...so please help me out.

All i done is pluged my netwrok adaptor in my ps2 then i got a wre with it i pu 1 end of the wire in to my ps2 and the other end in to y router then i put the disc in my ps2 put all me details in and that was it i was playing online gaming.

@ Hipn : Usually you wouldn't need to know all that, there should be a way to just have the ps2 detect aal those settings. Some more info on what optiosn you have exactly would be helpfull *since i have older ps2's, i don't know what the options are on those new network discs, if you post those i should be able to help you out*

Like i said, post a list of the options the disc's menu gives you, and i can (maybe)help you out.

Its a v.30 disc...some options are LAN>I have ISP, I dont have ISP, I have ISP with username and password, and all that stuff...i forgot. but tnx for trying
