If you have allready burn DVD(-9) to DVD-5 format, you can just copy that dvd using DVD Decrypter (Read ISO and Write ISO)

Or when useing DVD Shrink you choose Image Recorder to create an ISO image or choose Hard Disk Folder to just create the VIDEO_TS folder content.
Do it like that and you can burn them later time...

So what temporary did you talk about?
I use DVD2one and do not know what you mean about it...

Thanks for the reply.

ok, so lets say ive already created a backup for the dvd(the backup works great). and now(after i have saved the temporary files created when burning the first one) i want to use those files to burn another backup(instead of using the original dvd).

basically i dont want to have 2 sets of the same files. its a huge waste of hard drive space and i dont have to much gigs left.

i'll try DVD Decrypter. if you have any more help to give me, please do.

If I got this right:

You can make second copy easy with DVD decrypter (using backup DVD or ISO files)
Or you can burn DVD movie files with Nero (vob, bup and ifo files) (from HD or real DVD or Backup)

I do not see any reason to keep any DVD file in HD after first copy.
Because you can do more backups usig DVD Decrypter (from backup DVD)
Or if backup is broken you can do conver again using DVD Shrink again.

FIX: You ask info about DVD Decrypter?

Can't you just use the "open files" option? Never tried it but it seems like it should work.

Depending on what your useing to burn with, you can select hard disc folder as your target and burn as many copies with Nero or similiar burning proggy as you want or you can select ISO image file and burn as many copies with DVD Decrypter as you want after trancoding is finished. Either way you will only have one folder on your hdd then burn that folder as many times as you like.

Open files would work just fine. The thing is that you really don't need to use Shrink again on those files as they have already been prepared for burning.

Shrink does not perform the actual burn. It opens another program like Nero or DVD Decrypter to do that. You can open whatever burning program you happen to be using to burn the DVD.

If you don't want to open your burning program, using the Open Files method will allow Shrink to open it for you. It just takes longer. When you open the files, Shrink will want to encode them again so you will end up with another set of files.

FYI:

Shrink will create a set of files in one of two ways when you copy a DVD. It normally creates a set of video files. If, however you are using Decrypter to burn with it will create a disc image with a .iso file extension. You would know it because you have to set the program up specifically to burn with Decrypter. Shrink, by default has "Enable Burning with Nero" already set up so that is probably what you are doing.
