Using CD-R to boot up DVD-R's

Hi, thanks in advance for the help.

I have a Neo 4 mod chip installed in my PS2, and it can read CD-R backups fine, but i've tried swapping DVD-R's, but it's not working. I burnt a copy of SwapMagic 3 onto a CD-R, except it gives me the good old red screen. It definitely boots up CD-R's fine, but i was wondering if i had to finalise the disc or change media.

Any advice welcome, thx.

if you use swapmagic for DVD you will need the DVD version of swap magic
