Galactic Wrestling Back Up

I am trying to back up my copy of Galactic Wrestling. It's about 500 mb, and I extracted the .iso and tried to burn it on a CD-R using Alcohol 120. When I try to boot the disc, the screen goes to the memory card or disc menu. When I select the disc, it goes black, and then goes back to the same menu. I have had success with DVD back ups, but this is the first CD PS2 back up. I also tried to burn it on a DVD and the same thing happens. I try to burn on the slowest speed, but the dropdown only has maximum and 40X. I have used both Nero and Alcohol with no luck. Below is what I am using:

PS2=Version 7
Mod Chip=Matrix Infinity (1.54 Firmware)
CD Media= Khypermedia CD-R
DVD Media=Philips DVD+R
Using Alcohol 120

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
