hi, i know this question is being asked alot of times but there is still my question unanswered. DVD Dycryptor is great, i used it to copy Burnout 3 Takedown. The only problem is that Burnout 3 only had 1 file to copy. Now i am trying to copy Hitman Contracts on PS2 but it had lots of folders and files. E.G - Video scenes, missions etc. I cant use DVD dycryptor because it only copies one file. So how do i copy the whole DVD game. If anyone knows please tell me as soon as possible and give my STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS!!! THANKS THAT WOULD BE GREAT! :) :) :)

LOL, use DVD Decrypter in mode-iso-read and mode-iso-write for ALL games. No matter how many files are in the game, you will get 1 iso file.

4. select file location
5. hit decrypt, (image with DVD disk to HDD
6. go mode,iso,write
7. select file. if there are two, select to mds file which will tell dvd decrypter to burn the other file which is the iso
8. hit write, (image with the HDD to DVD disk
9. at the top,if you only making one copy, select delete file after burn

Also for swap magic if you use it:
1. Put swap magic in
2. let it load up the "load program screen"
3. swap via flip top or slide tool
4. clode lid or lock the tray
5. hit X to play

Hey I tried the step-by-step instructions, and they didn't work for me. I've tried burning it 3 times now. Twice using DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO, and once using the MDS method. All with the same result (a black screen after the insert disk screen).

Any other suggestions?

Thanks a ton

Well the burning and loading method posted above
is correct. So that should work.
I would really think about upgrading your Swap Magic
to 3.6
2.0 had a lot more problems with games having to be rebuilt,
or needing extra loading program like DVDloader to make games
boot up correctly.
here is another DVD Decrypter tutorial with pictures.

Okay, I know how to use decrypter but thanks for all the help. Before I upgrade to a new swap magic, could you point me in the direction of where to get DVD Loader?

Thanks again

I put in Swap Magic 2.0, then swapped it for the DVD Loader DVD i burned... that told me to change the disk and press x to play. I used the slide card to swap in Hitman Contracts and it said "Error Validating the Disk"

Any other suggestions? Or should I just hold off until I can get my hands on a newer version of swap magic?

Thanks again

you didn't quite load it right. load dvd loader with swap magic dvd. Then HIT EJECT and insert the swap magic dvd again. Let it read, then hit x. It will then say something about ea method, then use the slide card and put in the burnt game.

Hmmm.. I think I'm going to try burning the game again. I followed all your steps, and when i loaded the actual game, the DVD loader screen hung up on a green picture of a galaxy or whatever that is... and had pink around the side and bottom.

My problem is the same, just my method is different. I used the MC Hdloader to put my SC2 game on the hdd. It worked fine and dandy. But now I have isos I want to put on the hdd as well. So as a test I ripped SC2 using DVDDecrypter to get a nice iso. I transfered the iso via WinHiip with my external hdd casing. However the iso file that I put on the hdd through my pc yields a black screen.

My ps2 is unmodded...

What can I do? Is where I've been lost for a while and have done a bit of googling. I've heard of hexediting the iso...but I have yet to obtain a hexeditor that will handle the massiviness of an iso, and even then it becomes a guessing game for string killing.

So any suggestions?
